Bun B’s Trill Tenders, Set to Make their Official Debut in Houston this Weekend

After the successful launch of Trill Burgers, the newest addition to the culinary scene, Trill Tenders, is set to make its official debut in Houston this weekend.

Led by the renowned rapper Bun B and his partners, Andy Nguyen and Nick Scurfield, Trill Tenders will be hosting its inaugural pop-up event in Houston. The event is scheduled to take place from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Sunday, right outside NRG Stadium, just before the Houston Texans face off against the Denver Broncos. You can find the pop-up located in the southeast corner of the stadium, precisely at Modelo Golden Lion Gate. The first 100 lucky individuals to arrive will receive complimentary meals. Please note that guests must be 21 years of age or older to enter the pop-up, but Trill Tenders can also be purchased from outside the tailgate.

What can you expect on the menu? Well, prepare your taste buds for crispy chicken tenders with a delicate batter, featuring the signature Trill Tenders seasoning, accompanied by Cajun crinkle-cut fries and an array of delectable dipping sauces. The culinary magic behind these delights is courtesy of chefs Mike Pham and Fernando Valladares, both of whom possess expertise in crafting Nashville hot chicken dishes.

Trill Tenders first made their appearance on the culinary stage in October at Tenderfest in Los Angeles, where they clinched top honors, even when competing against some prominent names in LA’s food scene, such as Burt Bakman of Slab BBQ, Joan McNamera of Joan’s on Third, and Maynard Llera of Kuya Lord. Since then, Trill Tenders have made appearances at various events, including ComplexCon in Long Beach, California, and a sneak preview at the Texans’ Taste of the Texans fundraising event at NRG Stadium.

It’s worth noting that Trill Tenders is launching less than a year after the team’s successful venture into the brick-and-mortar restaurant world with Trill Burgers, which, like Trill Tenders, began as a pop-up sensation.
